The best moment to visit Bostwana is from May to August, in winter time, because days are warmer then.
During this period of time is when tourists from Europe, the States, etc, enjoy their holidays and for this reason you will find many tourists.
Bostwana is a destination for a selective tourism as it is very expensive and it is impossible to save money or not to spend more of your budget. Everything is really expensive, and it is thought in that way to encourage this selective tourism.

HOW TO GET THERE

Right now some British an Africa airlines flight straight to Gabarone. You also can flight cheaper going to Zimbawe, Johanesburg or Widhoek in Namibia.
About travelling through Bostwana people will be able to travel by train as there is an important railway service, or also by bus. However public transport does not exist.

PLACES TO VISIT

There are plenty of attractive places to visit. Countrysides are the favourite for tourists and they usually go to places like National Park of Chobe, Tsodilo Hills, or Okavange River (it is very famous as many people know it like the river which never finds the sea). But you also have some cultural visits like National Museum or National Gallery, both located in the capital, Gaborone.

- The Okavango Delta, said to be the largest island delta in the world. The Okavango offers fantastic wildlife and birdlife. Wild dogs, buffalos, elephants, wattled cranes and kingfishes are often seen.
- Chobe National Park. Home of the largest elephant population in the world. During the dry season, in the late afternoon, herds of elephants emerge from the Mopane woodland and make their way to the water. An afternoon spent watching these magnificent creatures is a wonderful experience.
- The golden sands of the vast Kalahari Desert, which covers a massive area of 58.000 km2. Sand dunes and shrubs in the north and Mopane woodlands in the south compliment the open grassy plains of the central reserve. Ancient riverbeds cross this harsh and beautiful landscape.
- The Tuli Block with its rugged terrain. Tuli is a true birdwatchers destinations with over 300 species of birds.
- The Moremi Game Reserve, which lies in the centre of the Okavango Delta. The fauna inhabiting the park is abundant and equally diverse, exotic birds, zebras, buffalos, wildebeest, hippos and lions . the only large African mammals not found here are rhinos.

The favourite activity is the Safari and the most of people book it from their countries.
Before going to Bostwana tourists should know that they have to take vaccination against tetanus and yellow fever.
Bostwana is a country which is prepared for tourism as it is one of its main sources of income.
Finally, people from EU, USA and Uruguay do not need a visa for visits till 90 days.
